I tried to upload various files and xls and xlsx files failed while doc and docx files succeeded. I have an array

  'application/pdf','application/vnd.ms-excel',

  'application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet'
);

(only extraction, there are some more).
