class.upload.php is a powerful and mature PHP class to manage uploaded files, and manipulate images in many ways. The script is available under a GPL license.
We currently use class.upload.php on our site, but I'm having problems with it when it comes to uploading the images. The quality of the image uploaded is really bad and I've tired to follow FAQs and the document as much as I can but can't seem to fix the quality and wondered if you could give me some advice. You can see the 'Interval' image is really awful, yet the original that I uploaded is a very high quality perfect .jpeg.
